Carpe Diem Haiku – Risshuu (coming of Autumn)

After a very busy summer I hope to slow down and return to my practice here at Carpe Diem Haiku. I’ve missed reading all the fine writers that participate.

As Autumn approaches Kristjaan invites us to craft haiku based on the change of season. With that in mind, here goes:

  1. As the Japanese maple puts on it’s colorful clothes then autumn has really come and winter is near. The Japanese maple changes of color as autumn is already halfway. A nice autumn haiku steph … I am glad to see you here again at Carpe Diem.

  2. nature always has a magic trick up her sleeve….sometimes I feel that I blink and the leaves are back on trees, then I blink again, and the leaves are leaving…
