For Carpe Diem – We are to interpret Southard’s haiku, and make it our own.  Here is Southard’s lovely verse:

This morning’s rainbow
shares its deep violet edge
with the misty moon.

My version/vision:

the eucalyptus

captures the iridescence

in the morning fog
